Need Answers": Supreme Court On NEET-UG Row The court was hearing a fresh petition in the ongoing row over the NEET-UG 2024 results that claim discrepancies in scores and alleged preferential treatment to some students. New Delhi: - The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to the centre and NTA, or National Testing Agency, over a petition seeking to cancel results of the NEET-UG 2024 - an ultra-competitive entrance test for undergraduate medical courses - amid allegations the paper was leaked.  "It is not that simple... that because you have done it (held the exam) it is sacrosanct," the court told the NTA, "Sanctity of (the examination) has been affected... so we need answers."  The court, though, said counselling for admissions will continue. The Kannada actor was detained by the Bangalore Police in the Renukaswamy murder case from Mysuru. Bangalore police, on June 11, detained Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa from Mysuru in connection with a murder case, HT Kannada reported. The South Indian actor was arrested for his alleged links in the Renukaswamy murder case and is currently being brought to Bangalore. Renukaswamy allegedly made derogatory social media posts about Pavitra Gowda and suggested an initial police investigation. Police began an investigation into the case after they found Renukaswamy’s dead body near Sumannahalli Bridge in Bengaluru, reported Asianet.  Ten people have been arrested in the case so far.
